My experience with Donahue & Horrow, was special. The firm was referred to my husband, I took his lead and I am grateful I did. I was a self employed woman. Shortly after starting my own business we looked into a company that would insure a self employed person. We found the company. We paid our premiums from 2001 to 2021. In 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. I initially thought I could work through my treatments and doctor appointments. I was a daycare provider for 25 years, it’s something I enjoyed very much. Nevertheless I ended up developing other diseases and the treatments became too much and I sadly had to retire my business. I than submitted the paperwork to begin to collect on the claim. Well to our astonishment it was denied on a technicality. We tried to speak to several people in charge of the agency, including management and there suggestion to us was, “take us to court, we never lose.”So this is when we connected with Mr. Horrow and his staff. I told him my story and he agreed to take my case. He and his staff cared about my story and me. I am beyond grateful to Mr. Horrow and his caring staff. The entire case took about one year. In that time Mr. Horrow and his staff were in constant touch with me. They gave me updates and provided me with all the information I needed to have. I never ever felt uninformed. I didn’t worry because I quickly developed a trust in Mr. Horrow and his staff. In closing I’m very happy to say with thanks and gratitude to Donahue & Horrow, I received my settlement.
