Donahue & Horrow, LLP Team To Participate In American Lung Association’s “Fight For Air Climb”
Our Law Firm Believes In Giving Back To The Community We Serve
Donahue & Horrow, LLP has put together a team in which each member will climb 1,377 steps in a show of support for the American Lung Association’s fundraiser, Fight For Air Climb, at the Aon Center, Downtown LA on April 5, 2014.
The Aon Center is the second tallest building on the West Coast and has 63-stories, but our team is up for the challenge! The American Lung Association reports that the fastest climbers take anywhere from 8 ½ to 13 minutes. The average climber takes 20-25 minutes, and others, still longer to complete the challenge.
If you have not heard about Fight For Air Climbs, here is some basic information from the American Lung Association’s website:
“Fight for Air Climbs are unique fundraising events for the American Lung Association. They usually happen in prominent skyscrapers, stadiums or arenas and involve climbing multiple steps. Sometimes called a “vertical road race”, teams and individual participants can use the event as a fitness target, as a race, with you challenging yourself or you racing against other people, or as a great way to be active and meet new friends. We know a lot about lung disease, but there is so much we don’t know. Your participation will raise the funds necessary to provide life saving education, research and advocacy so we can beat lung disease and soon find a cure.”
