Donahue & Horrow LLP Team Members Participate in “Fight for Air Climb 2016”
In 2014, a team of climbers from Donahue & Horrow LLP participated in the Aon Center fundraiser to raise awareness about lung cancer and to help fight against lung disease. Team Donahue & Horrow returned again in 2015 to climb for this important cause and now, in 2016, team Donahue Horrow once again stepped up to help fight against lung disease.
Each member of the team climbed 1,377 steps in a show of support for the American Lung Association’s fundraiser, Fight For Air Climb, at the Aon Center, Downtown LA on April 16, 2016.
About the Climb
Fight For Air Climbs are the American Lung Association’s most unique fundraisers. Climbs take place in prominent skyscrapers, stadiums or arenas and involve walking, running or racing up hundreds of steps. Sometimes called a “vertical road race,” teams and individual participants can use the event as a fitness target, as a race, or as a great way to be active and meet new friends.
The Aon Center is the second tallest building on the West Coast and has 63-stories, but our team is up for the challenge! The American Lung Association reports that the fastest climbers take anywhere from 8 ½ to 13 minutes. The average climber takes 20-25 minutes, and others, still longer to complete the challenge.
